XDP "eXtra Device Port"
These super advanced systems use digital technology to take the hybrid design a giant step further with the eXtra Device Port XDP jack, available on all Panasonic 7200 and 7400 series phones. The XDP instantly expands your desktop communications by allowing you to connect any single line device directly to your phone. No special adaptors, modules, wiring or programming are necessary to connect a standard phone, fax, answering machine, or even a modem. The XDP jack actually allows you to do several things simultaneously because it can be programmed as a separate extension. Talk while faxing or send e-mail while listening to your voice mail—plus more.

System Features

• PC Based Programming
  Panasonic dealers can program telephone systems with an IBM-compatible computer. The data can then be stored on disk for safe, secure back-ups.

• Automatic Route Selection
  Automatically routes outgoing calls to the most cost-efficient long distance carrier within your network based on time-of-day, day-of-week and call destinations.

• Direct Inward Dial (DID)
  With the addition of an optional expansion module, the system can be connected to DID lines provided by the telephone company, so incoming calls will be directed to a specific extension, alleviating the need for an operator or attendant.

• Door Phone and Door Opener
  An optional adapter card enables the system to interface with up to 4 door intercoms and can control up to 4 electronic door contact closures-each door intercom can be assigned a unique ringing pattern and the doors can be opened from the telephone. The result is a simple but powerful security system.

• Night Service
  "Night" and "Day" modes, which can be set from any station, change system functions according to the time. You can, for example, designate which phones ring with incoming calls after hours, or prohibit outgoing calls at night.

• Distinctive Ring
  Program up to eight different ring tones for digital phones, so phones in different areas or departments can have a distinctive ring.

• T1 Interface
  Electronically divides 2 pairs of wires into 24 channels, eliminating the need of running separate lines and providing an extremely cost-effective way to connect the system to the telephone company's central office.

• SMDR (Station Message Detail Recording)
  Allows you to obtain a record of calls - who called where, when, and for how long. You may assign account codes to keep track of costs to be billed. This requires connection to a serial printer or attachment of a call accounting system.

• Toll Restriction
  Control long distance calls by restricting certain extensions from accessing specific area codes or exchange codes.

• Direct Inward System Access (DISA)
  Addition of an optional DISA card provides an "auto attendant" feature. Incoming callers can hear a message of up to 64 seconds, can obtain single-digit access to extensions or phantom extensions, or ring groups any time during or after the message. Callers can be required to dial a security code to access extensions.

KX-TD308 Digital Hybrid System

The Panasonic KX-TD308 supports three outside (CO) lines, eight digital extensions and up to an additional eight analogue extensions. The eXtra Device Port (XDP) instantly provides you with four additional analogue extensions on any of four digital telephones (or any of eight digital phones with the optional expansion card). Just plug a single line device (such as a fax) in the back of a digital phone and you can use the digital phone and the fax simultaneously! The Panasonic KX-TD308 is ideal for small business or home offices requiring a flexible system with a high degree of sophistication.

KX-TD816 Hybrid Phone System
The Panasonic TD816 is a fully digital phone system that is the most future ready and cost effective telephone system on the market today. This powerful digital system can be connected to both analogue (PSTN) and digital (ISDN) phone lines. The entire Panasonic range of handsets including analogue, digital and digital cordless can all be connected. The TD816 comes standard with a built-in computer interface port that can be connected to a computer for system programming, Call Activity Reporting, Accounting plus a growing range of other applications.

The TD816 can support up to 8 phone lines with 16 extensions and can be further expanded to 32 extensions without additional hardware or software. Designed for small to medium sized businesses, the TD816 has the power, flexibility, and expandability to accommodate a growing business well into the new millennium. KX-1232 Hybrid Phone System
The KX-TA1232 is expandable, providing a cost-effective staring point. As your business grows, the system can grow with you by adding the required expansion units and telephones. A single cabinet KX-TD1232 system is expandable to 12 CO lines and 64 stations (32 digital proprietary telephones and 32 single line devices.) Connecting a second cabinet increases the expansion capacity to the system maximum of 24 CO lines and 128 stations (64 digital proprietary phones and 64 single line devices.) And your options don't end there. By adding an optional Panasonic KX-TVS Series Voice Processing System, you no longer have to be concerned about calls going unanswered. The KX-TVS voice processing system is an automated attendant, which directs callers to the appropriate extension or department. It's also a fully featured voice mail system that includes features such as live call screening and two way record.

However, programming is the key to customizing the KX-TA1232. The programming options are virtually unlimited. You can program the system so specific telephones are restricted from calling specific telephone numbers — or an outside line can be programmed to call one location during the day and another at night — its your choice
